Former Pakistani captain, Sarfaraz Ahmed’s bio, has been included in the syllabus of the Grade 4 Urdu Book, and the cricketer feels it is a big honour for him. He took it to Instagram and penned out his emotions.
Sarfaraz, who has been nowhere around the national consideration by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), is glad to be a role model for the upcoming generation. He paid special thanks to the Sindh government for including his bio in the fourth-grade Urdu book.

Earlier, his wife, Khushbakht Sarfaraz, reacted with joy to her husband’s achievement. She wrote on her social media that nothing could make her more proud seeing their children growing up and reading about their father with their friends and children.
Thrilled! Just by imagining when my kids would read about their father along with friends & teacher! Can’t be more proud! Alhamdulliah وَتُعِزُّ مَن تَشَاءُ وَتُذِلُّ مَن تَشَاءُۖ

Sarfaraz made the nation proud, winning the maiden title of the ICC Champions Trophy in 2017, that too against India. He took the team to the number one spot in ICC T20I rankings for the teams and maintained a winning streak of 11 series wins.
His form slowly started suffering alongside the poor team’s performances, and the player was sacked from captaincy. Also, he was dethroned from the team. As soon as the management found Mohammad Rizwan getting fixed in the wicket-keeping batting spot, they have not tried to reverse the place with Sarfaraz.
The favourite captain of all with multiple records to his name as a skipper is now away from the national panel. Even if he makes it to the squad, he is not in the playing XI.
