T10 tournament, which is launched by the Cricket West Indies (CWI) and the Caribbean Premier League (CPL), is to start on August 24th in St Kitts and on 28th in Nevis.
A total of six teams from the men’s side: St. Lucia Kings, Guyana Amazon Warriors, Barbados Royals, Trinbago Knight Riders, Jamaica Tallawahs, and St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots, are to participate in the tournament, whereas three women’s teams: Trinbago, Barbados and Guyana will appear for the inaugural of the T10 match.

Rules of 6IXTY:
The rules of this T10 tournament are quite different as compared to the other cricket leagues. The batting teams will have only six wickets in hand than 10 with a powerplay period of two overs. If the batting team hits two 6’s in the first two overs then they will get a chance to have another third-over powerplay.
From a total of 60 balls which will be bowled, first 30 will be from one end and the remaining 30 will be bowled from the other end. Adding up further, if the bowling team fails to bowl 10 overs in 45 minutes then a fielder will be removed from the ground for the next 6 balls being bowled.
