Pakistan will play their matches of Asian games in Zhejiang University of Technology Pingfeng Cricket Field in Hangzhou. Moreover, being in one of top 4 ICC ranked teams of Asia, Pakistan has directly qualified for this event.
Pakistan will start their compaign from quater final stage. The quater finals will be held on 3rd and 4th October. Semi final will be on 6th October and Final and the game for Bronze medal will be held on 7th October.
Pakistan A side will fly tonight for China. Today Qasim Akram, the captain of Pakistan A side while talking on PCB official twitter page said:
It is an honour for me to lead the side in the Asian Games. The players have performed well in the past, winning the ACC Emerging Asia Cup recently and I am looking forward to the same performance from the players in the upcoming games.
He also urged the fans to keep supporting Pakistan Shaheens in Asian games.
