Right then, that is it from this one-sided affair where Saint Lucia Kings get their second win of the season while Trinbago Knight Riders are still winless and need to come back stronger in the next game. However, the action continues as we have another game where St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots take on Barbados Royals. That game will begin at 4.30 am IST (11 pm GMT, Previous Day) on 27th Aug, but you can join us early for all the build-up. Until then cheers and goodbye!
Sikandar Raza is the PLAYER OF THE MATCH for his brilliant performance with both bat and ball. He comes up for a quick chat and says he feels really good about this victory and contributing to a winning cause. Adds that they have got a really good attack and to have a spin attack like this in this part of the world is a big bonus for the side.
Earlier in the game, after being asked to bat first Saint Lucia Kings posted a good total on the board courtesy of a fine half-century from their in-form skipper Faf du Plessis and some good knocks from Johnson Charles and Sikandar Raza but they just lost their way at the fag end of the innings. Andre Russell and Dwayne Bravo both picked a couple of wickets each for Trinbago Knight Riders while Ali Khan chipped in with one. While chasing, their batters looked all over the place and never looked like getting over the line and in the end fell shot by a huge margin.
Saint Lucia Kings, on the other hand, will be really proud of their bowling effort. It was an all-round show and they were right on point from the start of this chase. They kept picking up the wickets which did not give any momentum to the batters. Khary Pierre was the pick of the bowlers with four wickets while Sikandar Raza and Roston Chase picked up a couple each. Alzarri Joseph and Peter Hatzoglou also got a wicket each and got the deserved two points.
Trinbago Knight Riders got off to a decent start but once Martin Guptill fell, they just couldn't stop losing wickets at regular intervals. Mark Deyal looked in good touch and kept finding the boundaries while Kieron Pollard joined him and started counter attacking too. They looked solid together but unfortunately were dismissed for 33 and 34 in quick succession. Nicholas Pooran, Andre Russell, and Sunil Narine all failed to make an impact as they fell to a big defeat.
A dominant victory for Saint Lucia Kings! They have completely outplayed Trinbago Knight Riders here in all three departments. They not only register a fine win but also improves their NRR which could be important later in the season.

OUT! PLUMB IN FRONT AND GONE! It is all over as Khary Pierre seals the victory for Saint Lucia Kings. Tossed up in middle, Ali Khan goes for the slog sweep but fails to get any part of his bat behind this as the ball sneaks underneath his bat and hits him on his pads. Loud appeal by the bowling side and the umpire gave this out. Ali Khan asks for a DRS but all reds suggest  the onfield decision stays.
