Faf du Plessis, the skipper of the Joburg Super Kings, says that it feels good and things are falling into place slowly. He adds that they have confidence in their side now and the fielding has been great. He says that they bowled really well on this track, as 160 was a par score there. Ends by saying that they are really excited to play in the second qualifier.

Presentations coming up...
Earlier in the game, after being asked to bat first, the Paarl Royals never got going as they were bundled out for just 138. The side kept losing wickets and never got a solid partnership going for them. Dane Vilas and David Miller did put up a partnership of 44 for the 5th wicket rest, but nothing of significance came from the batters. Miller played a good hand of 47 but kept losing players on the other end, eventually pershing himself to Tahir. The willy old fox Imran Tahir inflicted a lot of damage to the Royals as he took a couple while taking two stunners to remove Mitchell Van Buuren and Dane Vilas. Sam Cook turned out to be a perfect replacement for Lizaad Williams, as Cook took 4 today. Nandre Burger did well too, picking up three, while Moeen Ali did his bit by picking up a wicket as well.
The bowlers didn't help themselves and leaked runs to both sides of the park. The absence of Lungi Ngidi didn't help the Royals as well as they were toothless tonight. Only one wicket fell off the Joburg Super Kings and it was Tabraiz Shamsi who took that.
Chasing down a below-par total on a placid flat track, the Joburg Super Kings got off to a sensational start that settled any sort of comeback from the Royals. The opening pair added 105 on board and made an easy walk in the park with this total. Leus du Plooy acted as the aggressor, while the skipper Faf du Plessis played the perfect anchor for him. With just 34 runs left to chase, the pair of Reeza Hendricks and Faf du Plessis nudged the ball around the park and achieved their fate in 13.2 overs. Leus du Plooy was the top scorer for @job as he scored 68 runs, while Faf du Plessis played a good hand of 55 as well.
Paarl Royals have been outclassed and outplayed! A season that promised a lot from the start for the Royals ends in a misery as they lose the Eliminator to Joburg Super Kings by 9 wickets!

SIX! That sounded sweet! Half-tracker outside off that sits up to be hit. Faf du Plessis winds up, and clatters it over the deep mid-wicket fence. Just 9 needed now!
