New Zealand Women beat India Women by 3 wickets

That is it from this game. The third ODI is a do-or-die for India. A win and they keep the series alive or see New Zealand take away the series. All to play for India Women. The third ODI will be played on Friday, 18 February at 3:30 am IST (10 pm GMT, previous day). You can join us early for build up as well. Till then, Adios!
Amelia Kerr is handed the Player of the Match award for her excellent century and picking up the crucial wicket of Sabbhineni Meghana.
Another sorry looking display from India. Although they took the game till the end, Amelia Kerr never let India have a sniff of win. When the batters rifled nicely it was the bowlers who failed, it became more difficult with the drop catches as well. Deepti Sharma had a good outing with 4 wickets. The other bowlers were economical but failed to get into the wickets column. India Women should have put more pressure when they took three quick wickets and should have closed the game early but too many wayward deliveries let the opposition gain confidence.
It was not a good performance by New Zealand but still, they cruise through. With sloppy fielding, several sloppy chances and even at one stage being at 55 for 3 during the chase. Things looked pretty hard but just one partnership of 128 between Maddy Green and Amelia Kerr changed the course of the game. While Green fell after scoring a half-century, Amelia Kerr stood there till the end and took her teams over the line with a brilliant century.  There were flurry of wickets but no sweat was broken as Amelia Kerr was looking on top.
The Kerr sisters help the hosts get over the line after getting a bit shaky in the fag end but it was the younger sister, Amelia Kerr who scored a brilliant ton. So, with this win, New Zealand Women go 2-0 up in this 5-match ODI series. While India Women still wait for a victory in this tour.
