Australia Legends beat England Legends by 6 wickets
That is it from this game and the group stage! Time for the knockouts now and that begins on the 28th of this month. The first Semi Finals is between Australia and India. That game begins at 1930 IST (1400 GMT). Do join us early for the build up. Till then, goodbye and take care!
Nathan Reardon is the MAN OF THE MATCH for his all-round performance!
Earlier in the day, after electing to bat, England's top order fared well, they were all set for something above 170 but good death bowling from the Aussies restricted them to below that. That though was chased quite easily by the Australians.
England needed wickets first up but they conceded far too many boundaries. All their bowlers took a real pounding. Stephen Parry though had really good figures. He picked up three and was the only positive for his side in the second innings. Overall though, England were outplayed by Australia.
A thumping win for the Aussies! They came out all guns blazing and had a cracking Powerplay. The top three really took the attack to the bowlers and samshed them all around the park. They got to 100 in under 10 overs. Then there were a few wickets to dall but Hodge and Reardon ensured they take their side over the line with some sensible batting.
