So that is it from this game! We have two more games coming your way on Saturday! Do join us for it. The first game between Cobras and Titans begins at 1000 Local (0800 GMT). Till them take care and goodbye!
Keshav Maharaj, the bowler of the match, says the two run outs at the start were not ideal but credit to Zondo. He felt it was a good score as the conditions did suit their bowling, they started off well and they were very clinical. Mentions the short bowling does play as an factor, they want to end the innings towards the short boundary and he just goes with his gut feeling. States he is happy to take his side over the line. Ends by saying his natural pace was enough to get turn out of the wicket, he might need to bowl quicker going ahead but he is happy to bowl well here.
For his brilliant performance with the bat, Khaya Zondo is the Batsman of the day, Zondo says that the cutters were hard to get. Adds that they have a long batting lineup and believes they were a little bit short. Zondo says that he has been practicing in the off season especially to hit the reverse sweep aerially. Zondo says that he just needed to let go and says that the team gave him the freedom to play how he wanted as he knew the guys behind him can also bat. Zondo says when he has the freedom when he has the backing of the coaches.
Earlier in the day, after electing to bat, Dolphins got up to a total which did seem above par courtesy Zondo. Cobras though started off really well. However, they lost the plot after the 10th over and in the end, fell well short of the total.
It was the skipper, who led from the front for the hosts, as he fnished with a four-fer. He was well supported by the other bowlers who came to life after the first half of the second innings. From 70 for 1, Cobras slipped to 80 for 6. Jonker then fought a lone battle but it was an uphil task for him and in the end, they fell short.
A comfortable win in the end for the Dolphins but the Cobras will be very disappointed. They were cruising at one stage! After losing Hamza early, de Zorzi and Kyle consolidated and their partnership of 69 took the Cobras on top. However, once Zorzi fell, the procession began.

Full and wide outside off. Jonker hits it through cover. He does not time it well as it comes off the lower half of his bat. The fielder there has to make a long chase and surprisingly, the batters do not go for the third.

FOUR! Too little, too late though? That is the question. Low full toss outside off, Jonker does not time it well but stil gets the boundary as he hits it over the bowler's head.
