- Gujarat Titans revealed new jersey for IPL 2022
- The unveiling ceremony of jersey was held on Motera Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad
On March 13, 2022 Gujarat Titans presented their new uniform at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The blue jersey boasts a unique and eye-catching design. The team is eager to make an impression in the forthcoming IPL 2022 on March 26 that will be their first appearance in the prestigious event.
This season will include a total of ten teams, including the Titans and the other newcomer, the Lucknow Super Giants. All eyes were on Gujarat Titans after unveiling the new jerseys for the Royal Challengers Bangalore, Delhi Capitals, and Mumbai Indians for the IPL 2022 season.
Since then, everyone has been waiting for the big unveiling, with a lot of curiosity about their jersey’s color.
Many photos of possible GT jerseys for the upcoming season had appeared. Surprisingly, the Gujarat Titans followed in the footsteps of Virat Kohli’s RCB franchise and unveiled their shirt at a public event at Motera Stadium. Jay Shah, the secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), was invited as the chief guest to the jersey launch ceremony at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Gujarat Titans’ Team for IPL 2022
Hardik Pandya, Shubman Gill, Rashid Khan, Mohammed Shami, Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Lockie Ferguson, Abhinav Sadarangani, Rahul Tewatia, Noor Ahmad, R Sai Kishor, Dominic Drakes, Jayant Yadav, Vijay Shankar, Darshan Nalkande, Yash Dayal, Alzarri Joseph, Pradeep Sangwan, David Miller, Wriddhiman Saha, Matthew Wade, Gurkeerat Singh, Varun Aaron, and B Sai Sudarshan.
Gujarat’s Coaching staff
The Gujarat Titans’ coaching staff will be led by Ashish Nehra, making his debut this season. Gary Kirsten, India World Cup-winning coach 2011, who will serve as the franchise’s batting coach and team mentor. The GT coaching staff for IPL 2022 includes Ashish Nehra as head coach, Vikram Solanki as Director of cricket, Gary Kirsten as batting coach, and mentor, Aashish Kapoor spin bowling coach, and scout.
On March 28, Gujarat Titans will make their debut at Wankhede Stadium against the Lucknow Super Giants.
