England tour of Pakistan: Is ECB satisfied with Pakistan's security?

England Cricket Team is due to tour Pakistan in September for the seven-match T20I series before the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia. After the two teams end their journeys in the extravaganza, they will fly back to the men in green’s place to complete the England tour of Pakistan 2022, playing a Test series.

The representatives of the ECB voyaged to Pakistan to examine security arrangements and have left the country expressing their satisfaction over the things. On their one-week visit, the delegations reviewed four cities, including Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Multan.

The delegations will now submit a detailed report regarding all arrangements and security in Pakistan. After reviewing the report, the ECB and PCB will mutually finalise the schedule for the seven-match T20I series and the Tests scheduled to take place after the World Cup.

Fans can anticipate an official announcement in regard during the second week of August. It must be noted that reports state that the T20I series is likely to take place in Karachi’s National Stadium and Lahore’s Gadaffi Stadium. At the same time, the Tests might take place in three venues, including the possibility of one of the matches in Multan.

The second half of 2022 is fully packed with Cricket for Pakistan. After winding up the ongoing Test series against Sri Lanka, the men in green will fly to the Netherlands for a three-match ODI series.

Later, they will welcome England in mid or late September for the seven-match T20I series, followed by a tri-series, including New Zealand and Bangladesh in early October. After the conclusion of the T20 World Cup 2022, the PCB will host New Zealand and England teams between November 2022 and January 2023 for Tests.
