Cricket enthusiasts in Pakistan are eagerly awaiting the kick-off of the ninth edition of the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL 9), scheduled to begin on 17th February. With just 13 days left for the much-anticipated event, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced that tickets for HBL PSL 9 will be available for sale starting Tuesday, 6th February 2024.
Fans will have the opportunity to pre-book their tickets online on pcb.tcs.com.pk from 1700 PKT onwards. However, it’s important to note that physical tickets are now mandatory for all HBL PSL 9 matches. E-tickets, whether self-printed or digital copies, will not be accepted for entry across the four venues during the tournament.
For those who prefer physical tickets, they will be available for purchase at designated TCS express centers starting from 12th February 2024. Alternatively, tickets booked online can be collected from TCS designated pick-up centers or conveniently home-delivered by TCS.
PSL 9 tickets price
The excitement will reach its peak on the opening day, 17th February, with the grand opening ceremony and the first match set to take place at the historic Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. Ticket prices for this thrilling event have been announced at PKR 6,000 for VIP, PKR 3,000 for Premium, PKR 2,000 for First Class, and PKR 1,000 for General admission.
For the final match on 18th March at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi, ticket prices are slightly higher, with VIP tickets costing PKR 8,000, Premium at PKR 4,000, First Class at PKR 2,500, and General admission at PKR 1,000.
Intermediate matches also have their own ticket categories, with qualifier tickets priced at PKR 5,000 (VIP), PKR 2,500 (Premium), PKR 1,500 (First Class), and PKR 750 (General). The two eliminators will have tickets available at PKR 5,000 (VIP), PKR 3,000 (Premium), PKR 1,500 (First Class), and PKR 750 (General).
The tournament’s venues will be spread across the country, with Karachi hosting 11 matches, including the final leg, Rawalpindi and Lahore hosting nine matches each, and Multan hosting five matches.
To provide fans with a unique experience, the organizers have associated each enclosure at the respective stadiums with cricket legends. For example, at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, the VIP enclosure will be graced by Imran Khan and Fazal Mahmood, while the Premium enclosure will host Rajas and Saeed Anwar.
The Multan Cricket Stadium VIP section will feature Imran Khan and Fazal Mahmood, and the Premium enclosure will have Zaheer Abbas and Javed Miandad. Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium’s VIP section will include cricket icons Imran Khan, Javed Akhtar, Javed Miandad, and Azhar Mahmood.
