National Stadium Karachi is often criticized for not having a house full despite an intense craze for cricket in Pakistanis. This time too, with historic Pakistan vs England T20I series on the cards, the NSK will not witness a crazy crowd within its boundaries to witness the historic England tour of Pakistan 2022.
The England Cricket Team is voyaging the cricket-loving nation for the first time in 17 years. Everyone, including the players and netizens, are excited to witness the quality cricket action, yet Karachitees are not ready to entertain the NSK with their appearances.
On reviewing history, it has been examined that Karachi has never favoured the Weekdays matches, with too many empty seats spotted. Out of Pak vs Eng seven-match T20I series, the fourth match scheduled for Sunday is expected to have a more massive audience than the rest of the matches.
According to local sources, the PCB has not been able to sell all the tickets for any of the seven matches. NSK, having a capacity of 30,000 spectators, is once again set to disappoint the rest of the green fraternity.
Apart from the house full negligence, the PCB too has failed to properly market the hyped series. Nearby stadium areas are always rushing on traffic with welcoming billboards everywhere, however, this time, with one of the 3 Bigs in the country, no marketing measures have been taken by the board.
