The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Thursday revealed the squads for the home T20I series against England, the tri-series including Bangladesh and New Zealand, and the ICC T20 World Cup 2022. The men in green will contest the three ventures, respectively.
A separate squad has been named for the seven-match T20I series, whereas another squad with some variation has been finalised for the ICC T20 World Cup 2022. The World Cup-bound squad, before heading towards Australia for the event, will battle the tri-series in early October. Later, they will kick start their World Cup venture against India on October 24th.
Two new names, Aamer Jamal and Abrar Ahmed, have been added to Pakistan’s squad for England series. However, in the squad for the tri-series and World Cup, the PCB has included Fakhar Zaman in reserves and Shaheen Shah Afridi in the main squad in place of two new faces included in the T20I series squad.
