Pakistan looking to break years-old Asia Cup jinx

The Asia Cup 2022 final is all set to be played at Dubai International Stadium as the finalists, Pakistan and Sri Lanka, will encounter each other for the trophy. The men in green last won Asia Cup in 2012, which dates back a decade, and the nationalists anticipate seeing Babar Azam and co breaking the jinx this year.

Having a line-up that has proved its worth in the ongoing tournament, Babar and men are optimistic about ending a decade-old curse, bringing the third Asia Cup home.

Despite all hopes falling in the lap of the green, their last defeat versus Sri Lanka in their last Super 4 clash has created many queries. In an unimportant clash, the management decided to test the bench strength but will walk into Dubai Stadium with a full-strength side, ready to thrash Dasun Shanaka’s players this time.
