Fans compare leadership styles of Babar and Rohit

Pakistani and Indian cricket fans from across the borders are discussing Rohit Sharma’s aggressive and ignorant behaviour towards his young bowler, Arshdeep Singh, as the video circulates on social media. After the men in blue lost an all-important Super 4 match game versus Sri Lanka, which could have strengthened their chances to qualify for the final, Rohit almost blamed Singh for the defeat, just like typical netizens.

Arshdeep was induced to deliver the last over under the pressure situation after Bhuvneshwar Kumar had already conceded plenty of runs causing the match to let go out of hand. In fact, the situation was pretty similar in India’s both Super 4 games against Pakistan and Sri Lanka, respectively. After Bhuvneshwar’s poor 19th over, Arshdeep’s duty was left to save seven runs needed from six balls on both occasions.

One of the best IPL products gave his best under the pressure situation, stretching the over till the last ball, but the luck did not fall in India’s hands both times. After Ind vs SL match, Singh came to the skipper to give an explanation. However, Sharma’s arrogantly walked away, ignoring the bowler, as if he was putting all the blame on the youngster. He acted furiously after the lad dropped Asif Ali’s catch during Pak vs Ind match as the photo went viral.

At this point, the fans compare the leadership styles of two leaders, Pakistan’s Babar Azam and India’s Rohit Sharma. Even after losing the big encounters, Azam was noticed calm on multiple occasions rather than bashing his young cricketers; instead, he became their support. Hasan Ali dropping the catch versus Australia in the T20 World Cup 2021 is one of the best examples.

Let’s have a look at how fans react:
