In a celebration of burgeoning cricket talent, the ICC U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup 2024 is all set to unfold in South Africa, hosting 16 teams across four venues. This marks the 15th edition of the U19 men’s event, following the exciting West Indies edition in 2022, where India emerged victorious, securing their fifth U19 World Cup title.

The participating teams are divided into four competitive groups of four, with Group A featuring defending champions India alongside Bangladesh, Ireland, and USA. Group B consists of England, South Africa, West Indies, and Scotland. Group C sees Australia, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, and Namibia in contention, while Group D comprises Afghanistan, Pakistan, New Zealand, and Nepal.

The tournament, commencing in January, promises a cricketing extravaganza with a total of 41 matches leading up to the highly anticipated final in February. As the teams gear up for the challenge, India, boasting its title-defense mission in Group A, is determined to showcase a formidable squad.

While squads from Group B have been announced, Bangladesh are yet to reveal their lineup in Group A, and Sri Lanka are awaiting the squad announcement in Group C. Afghanistan and Nepal are also yet to disclose their squads in Group D, heightening the anticipation for the cricketing spectacle.
