Multan Sultans and Peshawar Zalmi are all set to lock horns in an electrifying showdown at National Bank Cricket Arena as the Qualifier match of the ninth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 2024) looms. Both teams have shown exceptional performances throughout the league stage.
While the Sultans were the first side to reach the PSL 2024 playoffs, Zalmi became the second side. Both sides are placed first and second on the table, respectively, with 14 and 11 points. In a battle to add their second PSL trophy to the cabinet, the Sultans and Zalmi will clash at 9 pm PST on March 14th.
Ahead of the match, the PSL official social media handles took measures to ignite excitement. They created a poll to see the supporters of each side. It has been more than three hours since the poll was posted and it is crystal clear that Zalmi’s fan base is massive.
Out of 2921 votes at the time of reporting, Mohammad Rizwan-led side has only 17.6% of supporters on Twitter. On the other hand, Babar Azam’s Yellow Storm has got support from 82.4% of the Twitter audience.
On reading the comments, it has been analyzed that Zalmi’s massive fan base is due to their skipper Babar. While Rizwan has also been fan-famous along with his counterpart, fans cheering for the cover drive master are discernible.
