Ramiz Raja, the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), has turned down all speculations regarding his removal from the post. Talking at the board’s press conference on Wednesday, he has credited the media for spreading negative news and creating uncertainty.
Raja earlier clarified and was forced to do it again during the conference saying nothing is going to happen and the media does not inside better than him. He slammed the journalists for blazing fake news and asked if they want him to go so they can create more headlines.
The former cricketer furthermore queried the group of media persons if they want it written on the paper that he is going nowhere and is still the chairman of the board.

“There is no uncertainty. You [journalists] are creating this. I know the inside issues, and nothing is going to happen,”
“I am not going anywhere. Should I write it on a stamp paper and give it to you? I know you people want me to go and make headlines then,”
In response to the query revolving for the last some months concerning his removal as a chairman, he aggressively told the journalists that the players do not want to talk to them because channels only make negative news. He bashed the media channels for not covering PCB’s pathway programs but only highlighting the chairmanship issue.
“Let me tell you, players don’t want to talk to you [journalists] because you make negative headlines. They tell us that they don’t want to talk to media, we don’t stop anyone,”
“In my last press conference, every media house took headline on my chairmanship issue. Not even a single media highlighted our pathway program,”
