PSL 9 ticket website hit by cyberattack

In a recent development, Pakistan Super League (PSL) management has confirmed that the ticket website for the ninth season of the league was targeted by a cyberattack. The incident led to a delay in the sale of tickets, which were initially scheduled to go on sale on February 6 at 5 pm PST.

PSL assured the public through various media platforms that their technical team, in collaboration with ticketing partners, is actively working to address the issue. A swift resolution is anticipated, and the website is expected to be operational again shortly. However, the new date for ticket sales is yet to be revealed.

It is noteworthy that for the upcoming HBL PSL 9 matches, physical tickets have been made mandatory for entry into the venues. E-tickets, whether self-printed or digital copies, will not be accepted.

Physical tickets will be available for purchase at designated TCS express centers starting from February 12, 2024. Additionally, tickets booked online can be collected from TCS designated pick-up centers or can be home-delivered by TCS for added convenience.

The ninth edition of the HBL PSL is scheduled to commence with the opening ceremony and the first match on February 17 at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. Ticket prices for various categories have been set, with VIP tickets priced at PKR 6,000, Premium at PKR 3,000, First class at PKR 2,000, and General at PKR 1,000.
