England Cricket Team landed in Pakistan on November 27th to engage in a three-match Test series starting from December 1st. All three matches are part of the ICC World Test Championship 2021-23 and will be played at three venues.
The Pakistani fans are super excited to welcome some big names from the cricket world, such as Ben Stokes, James Anderson, and others. Notably, it is the first time in 17 years that a Test series between England and Pakistan will happen in Pakistan’s backyard. The last time it happened was back in 2005.
Apart from the excitement to welcome top players and witness quality cricket on home grounds, the fans are also delighted to see pacer Haris Rauf and spinner Abrar Ahmed all set to make their debuts in Test cricket.
While Abrar made his place showcasing excellency in the recently-concluded Quaid e Azam trophy, Rauf has been named after his mate Shaheen Shah Afridi’s knee injury got a bit severe. Both are likely to be in action during the first match, starting from December 1st.
