Naseem Shah seeks Asif Ali’s revenge from sportsmanship-free Afghanistan

Afghanistan’s anger against Pakistan on the field has adversely caused them to be expelled from the Asia Cup 2022. All the fans have to debate is their behaviour lacking sportsmanship versus the men in green. Bowler Fareed Ahmed uttered his choice of inappropriate words to batter Asif Ali after the Pakistani was caught at short fine leg by Karim Janat.

The inappropriate action toward Asif is not adored by Pakistani fans on the internet as they claim their defeat is the result of misbehaving versus the national heroes. After Asif departed on the fifth ball of the 19th over, bowler Naseem Shah took charge of saving the last wicket. All he had in his heart was to revenge on Asif and win the match for the team, taking them to the Asia Cup 2022 final.

With 12 needed off seven balls, Naseem on strike ran for one. The end of the second last over once again saw Naseem taking the strike in the final over. This time, with 11 demanded of six, the bowler hit a massive six to Fazalhaq Farooqi, leaving five from five required. He chose to smash another big one to bring victory, leaving Afghanistanis wiping their tears with the dread of going home.

Naseem’s fierce-faced celebrations showed how much potential he furiously held within himself to end the match in the green flag’s favour, dethroning Afghanistan. Notably, the victory has also expelled India from the tournament, who were relying on Pakistan’s defeat in the Pak vs Afg encounter to save some of their qualification chances.
