According to what can be called the recent developments of cricket, former Pakistani cricketer Mohammad Amir went to Dubai to participate in the training and practice sessions ahead of the Abu Dhabi T10 League 2022-23.
From the location, he applied for the No-Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). However, the board denied NOC to Amir, granting it to all other cricketers to participate in the league. It has been said that due to Amir’s controversial statements on the board, chairman, and players have propelled the board to take such a harsh decision.
The irony is that confident Amir reached Dubai to take part in the league and had to return without even playing a game. Notably, Amir has been in the headlines since he retired from international cricket developing unstable relations with the back then PCB management including Misbah ul Haq and Waqar Younis.

Amir was picked by Bangla Tigers in T10 League. He travelled to Dubai earlier for practice. Then he applied for NOC which was denied by PCB. Now Amir has been released from the franchise & he will return back to Pakistan without playing a single game
The experts and the board feel that Amir has now crossed the lines in criticizing the team and chairman Ramiz Raja. He recent made statements that Raja should retire after Pakistan poorly started their T20 World Cup 2022 campaign.
Amir also made bold statements on players. Not even this, he even unfollowed skipper Babar Azam, and Azam was quick to note, and unfollow him back. Opined that according poor relation between the two, Azam has parted ways with Karachi Kings in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) and will now play for Peshawar Zalmi.
