Right then, that is it from the T20I series and it is India who win the series 2-1 and skipper Rohit Sharma celebrates along with his teammates and they pose for a group photo as well. The three-match ODI series is up next and England have a bit of momentum with them. The first ODI will be played at the Kennington Oval in London on Tuesday, the 12th of July. That game begins at 5.30 pm IST (12 pm GMT) but our build-up will begin much sooner. Do join us then, take care and goodbye!
Rohit Sharma, the captain of India says that he thought it was a fantastic chase and even though they fell short, the fight shown by SKY was amazing. Adds that he has watched Suryakumar Yadav for a while now and he loves this format, is very unorthodox and keeps up the tempo. It was important for them to get him into the squad and he has been brilliant. Reckons that there were some places they would have liked to execute better with the ball but England played well. Mentions they bowled well in the Powerplay but the English batters stitched together a good partnership after that and they back themselves to chase any target but it wasn't meant to be. Ends by saying that they are playing good cricket and want to continue playing good cricket and they want to get better with every game. Says it was a great learning curve for them and they need to know how to bat under different circumstances so these types of games are very important.
English skipper, Jos Buttler says it was a fantastic game! He is pleased to win it. Adds Suryakumar Yadav's innings was brilliant. Mentions Reece Topley, Richard Gleeson and Chris Jordan were very good. Credit to Moeen Ali to bowl the second last over, he showed great character. Adds they are blessed with the number of all-rounders they have.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been adjudged as the PLAYER OF THE SERIES for his brilliant bowling display in the first couple of games.
Reece Topley (4-0-22-3) is the PLAYER OF THE MATCH for his sensational bowling on a belter of a pitch. Topley says that he is pretty happy to pick up the award when there were some great knocks. Adds that it is about isolating the balls and come up with a plan to either restrict scoring or be aggressive from the start. Mentions that they got the early wickets and it was a brilliant knock from Suryakumar Yadav but they believed that they were always one wicket away from snatching victory. Mentions that Yadav's innings was incredible and he hadn't seen shots like that. Ends by saying that he has had a great start to the white-ball summer and hopes to continue the same.
The presentation ceremony...
Earlier in the day, after electing to bat, a really good effort from Dawid Malan and support from the other batters saw England get to well over 200. They made quick work of the Indian top-order but Suryakumar Yadav played an innings of a lifetime. He got India back into the game but needed support from the others which he did not receive. However, he is the reason why India got so close to the target. In the end, England had enough runs on the board and have got the win that halts Rohit Sharma's winning streak. Stay tuned for the presentation ceremony.
The England bowlers bowled well to every batter of India apart from Suryakumar Yadav. They really struggled to get it right to him and he took advantage of that. Especially the spinners who were taken to the cleaners. However, the quicks, the likes of Richard Gleeson, David Willey and especially Reece Topley had really good figures and that is what helped England win the game.
What a game of cricket that was in the end! Suryakumar Yadav almost pulled off the impossible. This innings was all about him. He walked out when India were two down for not a lot, Rohit Sharma also fell soon after he came out to bat. Suryakumar Yadav though batted brilliantly. Shreyas Iyer first gave good support to him. The two added over 120 runs with Yadav scoring most of the runs. Iyer and Karthik fell at crucial times but Yadav stayed there, got to his ton and made his side believe. The task was a mammoth one where they needed over 40 in the last 2. Yadav did strike a few to begin the penultimate but once he fell, the game was done.

OUT! CLEANED UP! A fabulous delivery to finish off the game by Chris Jordan! This is a pacy yorker, tailing into the off pole. Ravi Bishnoi makes a bit of room looking to cover drive but is undone by raw pace. The ball goes on to hit the base of off stump and England win by 17 runs!

Fullish delivery, around off, Ravi Bishnoi thrashes it through the cover region for a couple of runs.

OUT! CAUGHT! Chris Jordan gets a wicket, his first of the game and India lose their eight. This is very full and on middle, Harshal Patel shuffles across the stumps, trying to scoop it behind but ends up chipping it towards short fine leg. Richard Gleeson over there takes a simple catch and England will not be whitewashed.

Excellent bowling from Chris Jordan and that should be it! Gets in the yorker at the toes, at good pace too and there's nothing Harshal Patel can do about it other than keep it out.

Full and on the pads, this is clipped away to the man at deep square leg and Harshal Patel denies the run.

FOUR! A boundary to end the over and there might still be a chance of a turnaround, a slight chance that is. Around middle, this is swept up and over square leg and the ball runs away into the fence. 21 needed now off 6 balls. With the new rules in place, England are over the time limit and they will have one less fielder outside the 30-yard circle.

OUT! TAKEN! Moeen Ali does have the last laugh and might have just sealed the game for his team. For the first time in this over, Ali does get it full and wide but inside the tramline. At this point Suryakumar Yadav has to go after every delivery and does so but mistimes it badly. The ball is lofted off the toe end of the bat and Philip Salt races in from the long off fence to take a good diving catch. End of a sensational innings from SKY, but it is England who are heading towards victory at the moment.
