Presentation Time...
Earlier in the game, UP Nawabs huffed and puffed their way to a fighting total. Skipper Rahmanullah Gurbaz top-scored with 27 but except for him only Curtis Campher and Odean Smith could get to the double digit as the others could handle the pressure of a knockout game. Delhi Bulls were excellent with the ball with Muhammad Rohid Khan leading from the from with two wickets. Every other bowler was pretty economical, and except for Sam Cook. all others chipped in with one wicket each.
UP Nawabs, on the other hand, will be disappointed as they would have hoped to put up a better fight. But as we know in this format, if a batter gets going, it becomes really hard to stop them and that is what exactly happened here. Tom Banton punished the bowlers and they had no answers to that. Binura Fernando and Adil Rashid managed to pick up a wicket each, but they needed much more than that in this do-or-die clash.
Despite losing James Vince early on, Delhi Bulls were in control of this chase right from the start. Tom Banton was absolutely on fire hitting it to all corners of the park while Shadab Khan also played a handy cameo of 25 off 10 to keep the momentum going. Rovman Powell came in and played a few lusty blows but the hero for them was Banton staying unbeaten on 50 off 22, taking his side home with almost 3 overs to spare.
DELHI BULLS STAY ALIVE IN THE TOURNAMENT FOR NOW! A clinical run chase from them and they have knocked out the UP Nawabs. The Bulls don't have much time as in about half an hour, they will be facing Team Abu Dhabi in the Eliminator 2. The Nawabs had a decent season, but they failed to step up when it mattered the most.

FIFTY FOR BANTON! Delhi Bulls win by 8 wickets! Quicker again, well outside off, short length, Tom Banton rocks back and slices away over the extra cover for a couple of runs and he reaches his half-century as well. A nice knock to end this match!
