With the ball, it was about two people for the Dragons, Mirwais Ashraf and Waqar Salamkheil. The two combined finished with 8 wickets in their total quota and if you lose that many while chasing a mammoth total, a win is next to impossible. Overall, an extremely good performance to knock Boost Defenders out.
A comfortable win for the Dragons! To be honest, Afghan’s knock was the one that set it up for them. His knock was why the Dragons batted the Defenders out of the game. 232 was always going to be an uphill task and despite going at more than 10 runs for the over till the 9th, they were chasing the game. Karim Janat was the main man for them. He was striking it well but once he fell, wickets fell in heaps and in the end, they fell well short.
