- Karachi fans warmy welcomed the visitors
- Play cards and posters showed fans love for the Australian team
The Pindi Test might have resulted in a dull draw and the fans couldn’t see a very competitive game but the crowd added so much life into it. They filled the stadium carrying both funny and welcoming play cards announcing their happiness and excitement as Australia stepped onto the Pakistani grounds after 24 years.
The action then shifted to Karachi and the team was warmly welcomed by the hotels they were residing in. Special notes were left in the team lounge and were shared by the cricketers. Not only this, but when the two took to the field this morning to commence the second Test of three, the people of Karachi embraced them wholeheartedly.
Play cards of fans welcoming their favourites were seen all across the stadium. The opening batters were welcomed in the ground amidst loud cheers. Notably, Australia is visiting the country after 24 years and it is only justifiable that the cricket fraternity is going to all lengths to welcome the Kangaroos. From inviting players for having biryani to urging them to play next season of PSL, here is how the Kangaroos were welcomed in National Stadium Karachi
