Pakistani cricketer Kamran Akmal has loaded ex-Indian skipper Virat Kohli with praises over the massive success of his international career. 73 international centuries is what sets Kohli apart from all other players, and Kamran believes no other player can get close to the feat.
As per Kamran, modern-day players cannot even assume to have 45 international centuries. He continued praising Kohli, emphasizing on his lost form, which he regained after more than two years. Kamran also defined his importance for the Indian Cricket Team.
In a video uploaded by Kamran on his YouTube channel, he heaped praise on the Indian player saying that,
“Nowadays, players can’t even imagine of scoring 45 centuries across formats, but Virat Kohli has scored as many in a single format. He has scored 73 international tons so far. He definitely got chances, but he made the most of those chances,”
“He had scored a century on this venue two three years back, and now he has rediscovered his form by scoring another hundred. He performed in the World Cup and the Asia Cup. The runs haven’t dried up, which tells how important a player he is for India,”
It is pertinent to mention here that Kamran, who is no more part of Peshawar Zalmi, is often seen criticizing his cousin Babar Azam, who is the current skipper of Pakistan across all formats.
