Pakistan middle-order batter Iftikhar Ahmed has been signed by Bangla Tigers for the upcoming edition of the Abu Dhabi T20 league.
Seeking his capabilities to hit hard in the recently-concluded edition of the ICC T20 World Cup 2022, the Tigers have been inspired just like everyone. And they have simply decided not to miss out on the big opportunity.
Apart from showing his skills as a batter, he has proved his worth as an occasional bowler on multiple occasions as well. While locking the 32-year-old in their panel, Tigers revealed,

Apart from Iftikhar, the ex-Pakistani cricketer Mohammad Amir is also on the same boat. He will also don the Tigers jersey in the upcoming version of the Abu Dhabi T10 league.
Overall, five Pakistani cricketers have been hired for the tournament. Imad Wasim, who has been nowhere around the national fold, will play for Delhi Bulls, while Wahab Riaz and Azam Khan will represent New York Strikers.
Team Abu Dhabi has signed a deal with Amad Butt, while Mohammad Irfan is all set to play for Northern Warriors.
It is pertinent to mention here that the tournament will run in Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium from November 23rd to December 4th.
