The ICC T20 World Cup 2024 is all set to begin on June 1st and all the participants have started preparation to lift the coveted trophy. This time, the event is going to be the biggest of its kind, featuring 11 games, and 20 teams.
The extravaganza will be co-hosted by the USA and the West Indies, marking the first time the USA will get such an opportunity. It also makes them automatic qualifiers for the much-anticipated tournament.
To prove their mettle while playing with big teams, the USA have already started preparing. One such measure is announcing back-to-back T20I series at their home ground to get an idea of the pitches.
They are all set to welcome Bangladesh and Canada cricket teams from April to May. Canada will tour first to feature in a five-match T20I series starting April 7th. All five games will be played in Houston, Texas.
As for Bangladesh, they will engage in a three-match T20I series in May, also scheduled to take place at the same venue. The dates were decided taking all three boards in mutual consideration.
