Another big signing for PSL 8 draft

Bangladesh skipper Shakib Al Hasan has signed for the draft of the eighth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), revealed the official social media handle of the PSL on Sunday.

Sunday has been full of good news for Pakistan – the Netherlands managed to beat South Africa, polishing Pakistan’s chances to qualify for the semifinal, Pakistan themselves thrashing away Bangladesh to fix the semifinal spot, ex-Pakistani cricketer and now politician Imran Khan announced to resume rally where it stopped, and one of the biggest names in cricket, Shakib, joining PSL.

While taking it to Twitter, the PSL broke the good news,

Shakib has proven himself a vital cog for the Tigers with his all-rounder skills. The 35-year-old has been serving Bangladesh since 2006 and has amassed decent records. Featuring 63 Tests, 221 ODIs, and 109 T20Is, he has totalled 4251, 6755, and 2243 runs, respectively, while scalping 225, 285, and 128 times.

He holds a notable career in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and is now looking to build up stats in PSL while setting up connections with the players around here. It must be noted that it ain’t the first time Shakib is signing a deal with PSL but he has played multiple seasons earlier.
