All Love and no Hate between Shaheen Afridi and David Warner

If anything else, this series between Pakistan and Australia has witnessed a lot of camaraderie between the two sides. Ever since day one players from both teams were seen involved in discussions on and off-field. Labuschangne, Warner and Smith were witnessed laughing and chatting with Pakistan players.

But the latest episode between David Warner and Shaheen Afridi has caught the attention of cricketers and fans all around the world. Yesterday, on day three of the third Test match currently underway in Lahore, the Australian pace attack ripped through the Pakistan batting lineup and the hosts collapsed on 268 runs. The Kangaroos then geared up to bat and Warner along with Usman Khwaja took to the crease again just 15-20 minutes shy of stumps. In the last over Afridi took out his aggression on the ball and bowled some deadly balls to the batter.

However, after bowling the last one, Shaheen went up to David and the two shared a few second stare-off. Speculated to be a heated exchange it turned out everything was fine between the two masters of the game when the latter shared a lovely picture of them hugging in his Instagram stories.

But this doesn’t end here. on the fourth day, just before lunch an electric ball went straight from Afridi’s hands and ripped the wicket off on Warner’s end. the Pakistani star pacer went up to the batsman and both of them shook their hands and exchanged smiles. the cricket fans thoroughly enjoyed these moments and also had a bit of a laugh at the on-field friendly banter.
