The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) has unveiled its formidable squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024, with star spinner Rashid Khan at the helm. Among the key players joining Khan are seasoned campaigners Mohammad Nabi, Rahmanullah Gurbaz, and Ibrahim Zadran, forming a robust lineup aiming to clinch Afghanistan’s maiden ICC trophy.
Having finished sixth in the 2023 World Cup, the Afghan team is hungry for success on the global stage. With a roster boasting experience and talent, hopes are high for a strong showing in the tournament.
The announced squad comprises Rahmanullah Gurbaz as wicketkeeper, supported by the likes of Ibrahim Zadran, Azmatullah Omarzai, and Najibullah Zadran in the batting department.
