1. Rahul Chahar

Missing many domestic matches due to his injuries during the year 2018 caused him great distress.

Due to him not being able to give his best or most influential performance in the recent World Cup 2021, it has made the selectors skeptical thinking over his selection as in this mentioned event he couldn’t dispatch proper innings in almost every match except in the game against Australia that India played.

In the mentioned International cricket match he reaped over 14 wickets in 13 games with an economy rate of nearly 7.71 and with an average of 25.71. He played a total of 101 matches in T20 cricket scoring 1569 runs with a splendid strike rate of 135.14 and an average being almost 25.

In the 2010 IPL auction, Kieron has been one of the most expensive players to buy due to his excellent stats in the short order format. As his T20 World Cup 2021 was not up to scratch and being a captain of the team he couldn’t take his team further beyond the league stage. This led to the disappointment of the team’s management and him certainly.

Further, his underrated performance in the big form tournament like the ODIs and Tests due to his poor form and his disagreement with the West Indies Cricket Board forced him to retire from the International cricket format in 2021. 5. Tom Curran

Not only this, but this youngster represented his team in all the 3 formats just at the age of 22 years. Not only with the ball with pace length deliveries and variations taking wickets for the men in blue but also with the bat hitting powerfully in the middle order, he has been very efficient for England.

Lately, in the T20 World Cup 2021, his brother Sam Curran was not selected for the team due to a back injury and thus Tom was adjusted into the squad for action but he didn’t meet the expectations for England and didn’t perform well given no jolt due to which he is not selected for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2022.

6. Daryl Mitchell

Daryl Joseph Mitchell, an all-rounder of the New Zealand cricket team with right-arm medium bowling and right-handed bat, born on May 20, 1991, in Hamilton made his first Test International debut on 29 November 2019 against England team. Whereas, his T20 International cricket debut was against India in February 2019.

Mitchell has also represented Canterbury in domestic cricket and on the other side played for the Rajasthan Royals in the famous Indian Premier League. He is the son of New Zealand’s union coach and a former player John Mitchell who retired long back from International cricket in 2015.

In the semi-final of the men’s T20 world cup against England on November 10, 2021, Daryl Mitchell gave his career-best performance in which he scored 72 runs of just 42 deliveries showing great performance with the bat and was the player of the match. Unfortunately, this IPL season he didn’t perform well and is likely not to be a part of the T20 World Cup 2022.

7. Sarfaraz Ahmed

8. Asghar Afghan

In the T20 World Cup 2021, Asghar has played magnificently in every inning of the tournament with the bat handling the middle-order tightly but in the match against Pakistan in the same tournament, Afghanistan lost to Pakistan in his captaincy due to which his cricket career is at stake regarding the upcoming T20 World Cup 2022.

9. Mohammad Hafeez

10. Tymal Mills

Proving himself again he has played in the Indian Premier League for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 2017 season. Adding up he was also a part of all the three T20 games which were played by England against India in which he took 3 wickets with a good economy rate. Another thigh strain injury of Tymal Mills caused him late joining due to which he played the T20 World Cup tournament from the midst.

This time he was a part of the Mumbai Indians franchise in the IPL but unluckily he was able to gather only 6 wickets in the played matches with a very high economy rate being almost 11.17. This improper form of Mills puts him in a difficult situation of being selected for the T20 World Cup 2022.
