Quetta Gladiators have unveiled their lineup for the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL 2024) season nine, but uncertainty looms over the availability of star player Wanindu Hasaranga. As the Gladiators gear up to face Peshawar Zalmi in their first match on February 18 at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore, captain Rilee Rossouw leads a formidable squad including Jason Roy, Sherfane Rutherford, Laurie Evans, Akeal Hosein, and Will Smeed.
However, Hasaranga’s participation remains in question due to scheduling conflicts with the Afghanistan vs Sri Lanka series. The dynamic all-rounder may miss the initial matches of PSL 2024, awaiting clearance in the form of a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from Sri Lanka Cricket.
Amidst the anticipation surrounding the tournament, Quetta Gladiators’ mentor Sir Vivian Richards and bowling coach Shaun Tait have already arrived in Pakistan, signaling the team’s readiness for the upcoming challenges.
