Unrealistic journey for Pakistan as they become first side to qualify for World Cup 2022 final

Pakistan have become the first side to qualify for the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 final, against all the odds, getting out of all ifs and buts scenarios.

Their stay in the tournament almost looked impossible once they conceded two successive defeats against India and Zimbabwe whilst opening up their campaign. However, the three back-to-back triumphs versus the Netherlands, South Africa, and Bangladesh let them thump up with a great bounce back.

Alongside ending on the top of three trials, luck favoured them, with the qualifying scenarios almost ending in their favour. From becoming the second side to qualify for the semifinals after New Zealand, they are now the first side to reach the final showdown.

Facing the Kiwis in the first semifinal on Wednesday, they made sure to dominate in both departs. After presenting some exciting bowling and fielding to get four of them down and restrict them to 152, the openers in green, Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan, singe-handily let things fall in their favour.

Their magical innings and a 100+ partnership were a shut-up call for all the critics around there. After their collapse, Mohammad Haris and Shan Masood took charge of their duties to finish off the remaining runs, letting the lookouts cheer in joy, and the players celebrate for massive success.
