Why PSL twitter handle has thanked Colin Ackermann?

The official Twitter handle of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) has shown gratefulness toward the Netherlands’ all-rounder named, Colin Ackermann, as he played a pivotal role in his side’s victory over South Africa in the Super 12 match of the T20 World Cup on Sunday. The Netherlands winning versus the Proteas did not only kick out the losing side from the tournament but also paved the way for Pakistan to qualify for the semifinal.

The PSL Twitter handle penned out great news for Colin, who will now be part of the HBL PSL 8, scheduled to begin in mid-February 2023. It is now to see which team will land hands on the Dutch cricketer since his inning against the Proteas has surprised many around there.

“Thank you for taking part in the registration process for the PSL 2023, and thank you for the assist today,” the PSL tweeted.

While putting up a target of 159 runs, Colin smashed 41 and stayed not out while contributing to a decent-looking score. Later, South Africa’s eight scalps fell down alongside balls falling short, leaving no option for them to qualify for the semifinal.
