Former Indian skipper Virat Kohli had been out of form for over two years. From being the only cricketer to average 50 above across all formats, his century drought for more than two years and his strive to score decent runs continued until Asia Cup 2022 broke the jinx.
In India’s last match of the event, which they played against Afghanistan, Kohli smashed a breathtaking century putting an end to anticipation for the 71st international century. He received congratulations from all across the world, including the Pakistani cricketers. Former Pakistani bowler Mohammad Amir, and Imad Wasim, who has been nowhere near the national fold, also tweeted congratulatory posts for Kohli’s 71st century.
However, the duo was seen posting nowhere after Pakistani captain Babar Azam broke his Asia Cup 2022 poor form jinx with a record-making hundred in Pak vs Eng 2nd T20I. Neither they commented anything on the record-breaking Babar-Rizwan partnership.
Here is Mohammad Amir’s tweet:
so finally wait is over great ? by king kohli

Here is Imad Wasim’s tweet:
The best player on the planet is back @imVkohli #GOAT?

Pakistanis fans awaited Babar’s skipper knock more than Kohli’s 71st century. Twitter flooded with praising tweets for Babar and Rizwan, yet, Amir and Imad, who called Kohli the greatest Goat of all time, forgot to heap praises on their national captain, Babar Azam. The Pakistani opening duo chased the target of 200 runs without letting their scalp go.
The hypocrite behaviour of the two was quickly noted by the fans. It was understood from Amir, who has been a part of controversies and his unstable relationship with the board. However, the fans were not expecting this from Imad and were terming him a victim for not being selected for the national crew.
