Pakistani pacer Mohammad Hasnain’s way to new opportunities is paved as he has recently been signed by Worcestershire for the remaining County Championship 2022 season. The young bowler was suspended from bowling in all forms of cricket after his bowling action was found illegal during the last edition of Australia’s Big Bash League (BBL).
Earlier, he cleared the Tests being tested by ICC Accredited Academy in Lahore, he is once again eligible to bowl. The tests were approved by Cricket Australia’s independent experts. Instantly after clearing the tests, he got a big chance as Oval Invincibles signed Hasnain for the upcoming edition of The Hundred.
Notably, The Hundred competition is likely to begin on August 3rd whereas, the right-arm fast bowler will make his debut for Worcestershire on July 11 against Middlesex. The club’s official media handle took it to Twitter and narrated,

It must be noted that Hasnain was representing Sydney Thunders in the BBL and inspired the watchers with his performance. Featuring against Adelaide Strikers, the umpire found his bowling style illegal and reported. According to the International Cricket Council (ICC), a bowler’s bowling action is found illegal if his elbow exceeds 15 degrees while delivering.
As a consequence, he was unable to bowl in the Pakistan Super League (PSL 2022). The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) also hired a specialist to rectify his bowling style. Hasnain is now available to bowl in all forms of cricket including international, franchise, and domestic cricket.
As far as Hasnain’s international career is concerned, he has played eight ODIs, and 18 T20Is, gathering 12 and 17 wickets in the formats respectively. The Pakistani fans anticipated Hasnain’s return deliberately and are happy to see their favourite back on the field.
