T20 World Cup 2022: Sarfaraz Ahmed trends as Pakistan show miserable performances

After Pakistan’s failures to manage things in the Super 12 round of the T20 World Cup 2022 so far, fans are missing their all-favourite T20I skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed. They believe he could have handled the situation as a skipper and was unjustly sacked on a couple of poor team performances.

Notably, Ahmed was replaced by Babar as the skipper of all three formats. Despite the fact that he won the first-ever Champions Trophy title for Pakistan, that too against India, some of the concerned performances replaced Sarfaraz with Babar as a skipper, whereas his position in the team was replaced by Mohammad Rizwan. It was not it since Sarfaraz has plenty of other records to his name alongside maintaining the longest T20 winning streak.

Since Pakistan are on the verge of being eliminated from the World Cup 2022, fans are badly missing their ‘Saifi Bhai’ and remembering all the injustice done to him. Nevertheless, Babar has not been an awful skipper since he became the first-ever Pakistani skipper to defeat India in a World Cup match. Yet, the fanatics assume Sarfaraz more experienced than their favourite batter.

Notably, Pakistan lost to India in their opening match of the Super 12. Although they tried, the last-over thriller turned the tables in no time, and similar happened in the next match against Zimbabwe. Developing an idea, the followers feel Sarfaraz could have been an intellect as the T20I skipper, forgetting the renderings of Azam quickly.

Despite the failures of the team as a whole, the experts and the fans have found some flaws in Babar Azam’s captaincy, and the only solution they understand, to overcome the woes, by replacing him with Sarfaraz as a T20I skipper.

The fans and the experts feel it is the right time to raise voices for Sarfaraz, who is nowhere to be seen around national fold from years.
