They left the bowlers with an impossible task against a strong batting unit and in the end, too much was left for the bowler's to achieve.

Danni Wyatt got going early scoring 20 runs in 18 balls and the 45-run second-wicket partnership between Smriti Mandhana and Maia Bouchier in 34 deliveries took the game away from the opponents. Mandhana came into this match on the back of two half-centuries and would be disappointed she could not take her team home. Maia Bouchier was the main aggressor as she accumulated 31 in 28 balls with Chloe Tryon providing the finishing touches to help the hosts get over the finish line with ease.

Southern Brave Women have registered a comprehensive win despite the late stutter towards the end! They have won by 5 wickets with 13 balls to spare registering their second win in three games. Northern Superchargers Women have lost their first game in this edition and will be really disappointed with their batting effort. There were not enough runs for the bowlers to bowl at and despite a late flurry of wickets, they were well and truly behind in the game. Linsey Smith and Georgia Wareham were really good claiming two wickets each while bowling economically and Kate Cross chipped in with one wicket. The rest of the bowlers were a bit expensive but take positives from their effort.
