Pak-W vs Ire-W: What milestones Sidra, Muneeba touched?

Pakistan Women’s Cricket Team rivalled the guest Ireland Women’s Cricket Team in the first ODI that took place at Gadaffi Cricket Stadium on Friday.

The women in green put on a stellar show with batting, gathering 335 runs, which eventually became their highest-ever ODI score. It came with the courtesies of openers Sidra Ameen and Muneeba Ali, who scored 107 and 176 runs, respectively, to put a partnership of 221 runs.

The ladies register a plethora of several batting records, individually, together, and for the team. Let’s eye on some of them.

The duo has registered the highest partnership for Pakistan at any wicket in the 50-over format.

Muneeba is now the fourth Pakistani woman to reach 100.

Sidra’s score is now the fifth-highest in Women’s ODIs and is only behind Amelia Kerr, Belinda Clark, Deepti Sharma, and Chamari Athapaththu.

Sidra’s knock of 176 not out is now the fourth-highest by a Pakistani cricketer, men or women, in ODIs. She is only behind Fakhar Zaman, Saeed Anwar, and Fakhar Zaman again respectively.

Sidra also went off to register the fifth-highest record in Women’s ODIs, which is the highest ever for Pakistani women.

Sidra Ameen has surpassed her own record to register her highest ODI score. She earlier scored 123 against Sri Lanka earlier this year. Her knock against Ireland was her third ODI hundred.

Opener Muneeba Ali came across her maiden One-Day International hundred, amassing 107 from 114 balls.
