Pak vs Afg once again on cards as ICC announces T20 World Cup 2022 warm-up matches schedule

The arch-rivals Afghanistan and Pakistan will once again be in action against each other in a short span as the International Cricket Council (ICC) on Thursday announced the T20 World Cup 2022 warm-up matches schedule. Pak vs Afg recently took place on September 7th as the teams played the Super 4 match of Asia Cup 2022, and it turned out to be an intense rivalry.

During Wednesday’s match, verbal spats and heated arguments took place between the fans and the players, which has now made Pak vs Afg even a more furious rivalry than Pak vs Ind. Mohammad Nabi’s bowler, Fareed Ahmad, threw harsh words on Pakistani finisher Asif Ali, celebrating his wicket too close to him inappropriately.

As a consequence, it triggered Asif to raise his bat at him, but other Afghanistanis joined the battle, throwing even more words at Asif. Their water boy gave a furious gaze to the batter for no reason and said heated words, either. Later, the Afghanistan Cricket Fans damaged the stadium’s property by throwing chairs in the stadium. They also urged physical violence against Pakistani fans after losing the match, which expelled them from the Asia Cup 2022.

Since yesterday’s incident, the topic has been frenzied on social media. After the ICC announced the warm-up matches schedule for another big tournament around the corner, fans are delighted to witness the fumed-up cricket rivalry once again.
