New Zealand beat West Indies by an innings and 12 runs

So, that is it from this game and this series! It was all New Zealand. The Windies have gone winless. A lot to think about for them going ahead. The Kiwis, on the other hand, are in excellent touch and will now be looking forward to the series against Pakistan. We hope you enjoyed our coverage, till next time, goodbye and take care!
Tom Latham, New Zealand skipper, says it is really nice to get the full points from this Test series. Mentions they are playing very good cricket and that is showing now. He mentions they hope they can keep going and they have another Test series which is starting in a week or so and they are looking forward for it. Also adds, Henry's innings here and Williamson's in the first Test, the bowlers have been brilliant and he hopes they can continue to do the good work. Further says the groundsmen did a great job, it is important to adapt to the surfaces and they did that.
Jason Holder, West Indies skipper, says he is disappointed to lose another Test match. Mentions the fight they showed in the second innings is what they have been wanting to do. Mentions the bowlers did really well, they created the opportunities but did not hold onto it. Adds they just have to keep going, they have showed they can do it but they need to be consistent and they need to find a way, dig deep and there is a lot to work on. Also says he expects them to play a lot better, they really let themselves down in the field in the first innings, you can't give good players chances and they need to figure out things.
Kyle Jamieson is named the Player of the Series. He says that he is just very excited to get how far he can go. Adds that he tries to improve each day and that will help his side to win games of cricket. Mentions he wants to be an all-rounder, bowling is his preference but he wants to contribute in both the departments. States playing overseas is the exciting part. Tells he wants to learn and understand how to use his skills in overseas conditions.
Henry Nicholls is named the Player of the Match. He starts by saying that he is happy with his innings. Adds that it was nice to get a great knock like this. Mentions that they built partnerships which was key for them. Nicholls also says that he credits his club for his performance.
New Zealand then enforced the follow-on and the Windies managed to show some sort of a fight in the second innings! Three of their batters managed to score fifty, Holder, Campbell and Da Silva. They came quite close to avoiding an innings defeat but a combined bowling effort from the Kiwis ensured that does not happen. Overall, a very complete performance by the Kiwis. Stay tuned for the presentation ceremony!
In reply, West Indies were bundled out for a mere 131. Only Blackwood crossed the 20 run mark. Out of the 131, he scored 69 for them. For the Kiwis, it was for the very first time two bowlers picked five each in one innings. Jamieson and Southee starred with a fifer.
The pattern of this Test was quite similar to the first game! The Kiwis were put into bat and they got to a total which was surely above par on a wicket which did have a lot in it for the bowlers. Henry Nicholls was the star for them with the bat with a brilliant ton. He did receive support from a few others but he was the mainstay for them.
Another comprehensive win for the the Kiwis! They have won both the Tests to have been played and in some style! Excellent all-round performance from them. The Windies, on the other hand, will be very disappointed with how they have performed. Not many expected them to win but the fact that they have not shown any kind of fight in both the Tests was disappointing.

New Zealand review as a huge appeal for LBW has been turned down. NOT OUT! It is missing the stumps and New Zealand have lost all their reviews. This is a full toss on the pads, Gabriel looks to flick but misses to get hit on the toe. An appeal but turned down. The Kiwis review but replays show that the on-field call is correct.
