Right then, that is it from this exciting contest where Northern Superchargers Women and Southern Brave Women share the points after the first-ever tie in the Women's Hundred. However, the action does not stop here as the same two teams will now go up against each other in the Men's competition, and if this game was anything to go by, we are surely in for more entertainment. That game will begin in a short while, and you can just switch tabs to enjoy all the build-up to the match. Cheers!
Lauren Bell is the PLAYER OF THE MATCH for her superb four-wicket haul. She says that she gets to bowl the last over quite often and she enjoys it. Adds that you play the game for moments like this and she enjoyed it. Tells that the off-pace delivered was working so she stuck to it and mixed it up to get the rewards. Ends by saying that she wanted to bowl a straight yorker on the last ball, and it was not that far off from being one.
Presentation Time...
Earlier in the match, the Southern Brave Women concluded their innings at just 100 runs. The Brave struggled significantly, collapsing to 27 for 3 early in the Powerplay and failing to establish any substantial partnerships. Chloe Tryon was their top scorer with 25 runs. For the Northern Superchargers Women, Linsey Smith emerged as the standout bowler, taking 2 wickets for 24 runs. While chasing, the pendulum shifted both ways as they fought really hard, but ultimately, they had to share the spoils here.
Southern Brave Women, on the other hand, should be extremely proud of themselves for the way they tried to defend this low total. Brave is in their name, and it was indeed a brave effort from them. Lauren Bell was the start of the show who picked up a couple of wickets early in the game, and then got the important breakthrough in the middle and death overs as well. The spinners, Georgia Adams and Chloe Tryon were superb as well chipping in with one each and not giving much away. They can feel a bit unlucky not winning this game after getting in a great position when Bell needed to defend 3 to win, but it was a great team effort from them to take the game to the last ball and earn one point that will give them a lot of confidence in this tournament.
Northern Superchargers Women did not get off to a good start here as they lost their skipper, Hollie Armitage after she hit a couple of lusty blows while her opening partners, Marie Kelly could not make much impact either. Phoebe Litchfield and Annabel Sutherland tried to steady the ship for a bit, but scoring runs was not easy at all here. The latter lost her wicket trying to up the ant while the former was dismissed just after the break but contributed 24 crucial runs. The middle order struggled and they lost a few more wickets quickly, but Alice Davidson-Richards kept her calm and found some crucial boundaries towards the end to take them closer to the total. However, she was also sent back in the last set when they needed 4 runs in the last two balls. Kate Cross hit a very important four in the penultimate set but before that also faced too many dot balls and she will be thinking about that, but in the end, it was she who got the two runs to tie the game.
WHAT A THRILLING GAME OF CRICKET! So after 200 balls, we do not have a winner and the points will be shared here. Some brilliant performances from both sides and no team really deserved to lose here. Lauren Bell was absolutely phenomenal with the ball for Southern Brave Women keeping them in the game, but Northern Superchargers Women batters just huffed and puffed their way to draw this game.

IT IS A TIE! THE FIRST EVER IN THE WOMEN'S HUNDRED! Lauren Bell serves this in the blockhole, on middle, Kate Cross manages well to jam it out towards long on, Chloe Tryon has to run forward a long way to pick it up, she throws it at the keeper's end but Cross completes the second run in time. Crazy game!

Pitched up and on off, Lucy Higham drills it towards covers for a run. It is all on Kate Cross now. 3 to win, 2 to tie!
Lucy Higham comes out to the middle now.
OUT! TIMBER! Oh..wow! Take a bow, Lauren Bell! A massive moment in the game as the set batter has to walk now and this is anyone's game now. This is full and on middle, shaping in sharply, Alice Davidson-Richards walks down the track to whip it away but gets beaten due to the inward movement as the ball shatters the stumps. Alice Davidson-Richards goes back now. Northern Superchargers Women still need 4 runs in 2 balls here!

Short of a length and on middle, Alice Davidson-Richards heaves it away just wide of deep square leg and comes back for the second run. That is excellent running!

Back of a length, outside off, slower too, Kate Cross cuts it away towards deep point for a single. A bit of a fumble but no harm done. 6 needed in 4 now!

FOUR! Smart batting! Flighted, full and around middle, Kate Cross moves down across and sweeps it away towards the vacant deep square leg fence for a much-needed boundary.
