Right then, that is it from this exciting game as Sylhet Strikers win another game in a commanding way. Next up in the Bangladesh Premier League, it will be Durdanto Dhaka vs Comilla Victorians. That game will be played on Friday, 9th of February and it will start at 6.30 pm IST (1.00 pm GMT), but as always, you can join us in advance for the build-up. Till then, take care, and cheers!
Mohammad Mithun the skipper of Sylhet Strikers says T20 games are generally very close and this was a good win. He adds that the opposition batted really well and they came back pretty strong in the middle overs but failed at the death which has to be taken care of. He talks about Harry Tector and says he is picked for such a situation and he is a match-winner and a finisher.
Harry Tector is the PLAYER OF THE MATCH for his batting effort. He says it was the worst 8 balls he has played at the start. He then adds that the ball came on nicely and the wicket was good. He says it was a bit tougher against the spin but they played well to get through.
Anamul Haque the skipper of Khulna Tigers says he is disappointed with the bowling effort but Habibur Sohan batted really well to get them to that total. He adds that Mark Deyal bowled really well for his 3 wickets but missed support from the rest of the bowlers.
Earlier in the innings, The Khulna Tigers after a solid start faltered in the mid-innings but it was a 99-run partnership between sipper Anamul Haque and Habibur Sohan that propelled the Tigers to a good score of 153 runs. Samit Patel was the pick of the bowlers for his tight spell with one crucial wicket. Anamuel Haque was the top scorer with 67 runs.
The bowling from Sylhet Strikers wasn't up to the mark as they kept leaking runs on both sides of the ground. Mark Deyal was brilliant as he picked up 3 and gave away just 19 off his 4 overs. Nahidul Islam and Sumon Khan took a wicket each as well but that wasn't enough for them to get over the line.
The chase did not start well for Sylhet Strikers as they lost Samit Patel in the third over with just 13 runs on board but a solid and crisp partnership of 52 between Harry Tector and Najmul Hossain Shanto steadied the ship for Sylhet Strikers. The side did bat well with most batters chipping in with key contributions and good little partnerships all along. Harry Tector was the pick of the batters for his knock of 61 while Ryan Burl too played a timely cameo of 32 to wrap up the game for them.
A brilliant cameo right at the end with Ryan Burl slogging 32 of just 16 wins the game for Sylhet Strikers.

SIX! CLOBBERED! That will certainly ease a whole lot of pressure off him. On a length in middle, Ryan Burl stands still and slogs it out of the park towards deep mid-wicket region for a massive hit.

OUT! Harry Tector falters and there is still life left in the game for Khulna Tigers. Short and wide, was there to be hit anywhere he wanted but Harry Tector finds Habibur Sohan lined up at deep point for his dismissal. The slowness of this delivery got the better of Harry Tector here.
