Pat Cummins, Australia’s cricket captain, uploaded a humorous video of wicketkeeper-batsman Alex Carey slipping into the team’s hotel pool in Rawalpindi while walking through it. Carey did not appear to detect that he was about to be pushed while standing at the pool’s edge, and after falling in the water, he could be seen throwing his cell phone at his friends. After being drenched, Carey threw his cellphone to the Australian players, and everyone around him couldn’t stop laughing.
Skipper Pat Cummins captured the amusing scene on camera and later shared it on Instagram.
Brett Lee also stated, “his phone will be ringing wet.”

Cummins recently expressed his feelings about the wickets in Rawalpindi, while experts from all over the world wished for a better playing ground. While batting, Pakistan scored four hundred, two unbeaten in the second innings. Cummins stated about Rawalpindi’s pitch.
“Turning up to a pitch that’s probably not a traditional pitch you would get here in Rawalpindi, and it’s probably clear they’ve made an effort to try and nullify the pace bowling. I think that’s a positive. And, sub-continent conditions, coming away with a draw it’s not a bad result”.
Cummins has also suggested fielding two spinners in the next game, citing the fast bowlers’ ineffectiveness compared to the spinners. Carey was removed for 19 in the first innings at Rawalpindi by Naseem Shah. The left-hander has 202 runs at an average of 20.2 in six Tests, with the lone half-century, and will be looking for a big knock in the second Test in Karachi, which begins on March 12th 2022.
