In a significant reshuffle ahead of the highly anticipated Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 9, Quetta Gladiators have announced the elevation of cricketing legend Moin Khan to the esteemed position of Team Director. The former Pakistan captain and ’92 World Cup winner, who has been an integral part of the team’s coaching setup since the fist season of the PSL, will take on this new role after serving as the head coach for eight successful years.

Moin Khan’s coaching stewardship has been pivotal in the Gladiators’ journey, leading the team to championship victory in 2019 and securing runners-up positions twice. The PSL season nine promises to be a spectacle, with a record-breaking 254 foreign players registering their availability for the tournament. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is gearing up for the PSL draft scheduled for December 13, 2023, at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore. Among the registered players, 20 fall under the platinum category, with a notable representation from England.
