The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) recalled four cricketers of Pakistan after the bomb blast, which happened during the domestic T20 league of Afghanistan.

During the Shpageeza Cricket League at Kabul International Cricket Stadium, a bomb blast in the stadium during a cricket match caused four spectators to be wounded.

After the Taliban’s rising power in the country, this was the first event of the eighth season of the T20 cricket tournament that took place. The drastic grenade not only lowered the reputation of the Taliban but also of the whole nation.

After the blast, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) immediately called them back to Pakistan following its players’ security. Mir Hamza, Iftikhar Ahmed, Asif Afridi, and Kamran Ghulam participated in the league and were instructed to immediately leave the country after the incident.

The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) later confirmed that all the players and staff members were safe posts the attack which took place on Friday 29th July.
